"A blend of 80% Pinot Noir from the Upper Derwent and 20% Shiraz from Rowella. The fruit was handled gently with a cooler ferment and shorter maceration time. Pressed to a mix of stainless steel, old oak and glass vessels for 6 months maturation. Bottled early spring to capture the fruity freshness. Pure red fruits (think rasperries, strawberries and cherries) with crunchy acidity which seems to be a reflection of the cooler/milder growing season. Raspy tannins and faint herbal notes. Mid week quaffing, midday quaffing for the weekend or a midnight refreshing wedge. Serve with a slight chill to enhance the energy. " - Future Perfect
