A banging winter red for everyone. It’s an unusual blend of Saperavi and Petit Syrah, two bold red grapes that make up some of the alternate varieties grown out in rich red soils of the Riverland. They both thrive in the hot dry conditions with Saperavi holding a beautiful, fruity acidity and Petit Syrah creating incredible plushness. It's chocolate-y and rich but at the same time bright and moreish. 

50 / 50 split, mostly destemmed with small amounts of whole bunch. Co-fermented on skins with half pressed after a few weeks and the remaining left for a few months, then aged in old oak. 

No additions.
